About us

The Full Story

You find love in many places: under the moonlight, at weddings, train stops, with family.
As God would have it, we first connected on the internet on a dating app...

How We Met

Many people think love stories start in grand places — maybe at a wedding, a bookstore, or on a trip somewhere far away.
Never did we imagine ours would start on a dating app.

"Finding love online?" , "Really...?" But that’s exactly what happened.
It all began with a playful line in my Hinge bio that said, “Would you splurge on me?” — and that cracked Pamela up.
That simple laugh led to a message, and the message led to something neither of us expected.

From the first conversation, it felt easy — the kind of flow you can’t force.
When we finally met in person, the moment we hugged, something just… settled.
It wasn’t just fireworks... it was peace.
And in that quiet moment, we both knew this was different.

From Laughter to Love

Our first date wasn’t anything fancy — no five-star dinners or candlelit tables.
It was fun golf, basketball at a lively bar, walking through the city, laughing, talking, just being.
We'd both been to more polished places, but that night?
That night was real.

We talked about life, purpose, work, and dreams.
It wasn’t long before we realised how similar our hearts were — not just in love, but in drive.
We both had that builder spirit.
Entrepreneurial spirits, creatives, ready to take an idea and turn it into something that could make people’s lives better.
So, our connection grew through laughter and purpose — that turned into long heart talks, and moments that felt both playful and profound.

And somewhere between our planning, our laughter, and our late-night ideas, love quietly took root.

The Proposal

Some proposals are grand productions; others just happen naturally. Ours was a little bit of both.

On December 20th, 2024, the plan Pamela thought was her best friend’s mum’s birthday party turned into something else. Formal invites were made, secretly coding the word PROPOSAL so each letter stood for something meaningful.
Pam had no clue...well, maybe a little ;)

Pam knew to wear our favourite colour  — blue — and Chucks did too, thinking it was just for the 'birthday' occasion.
Behind the scenes, friends came from the U.K. and family flew in from Belgium — everyone was in on it.

When the day came, the “birthday celebration” turned into something much more. As the music played and everyone smiled, Chucks went down on one knee. Her face froze, then softened. She covered her mouth, laughed, cried — and said yes.

That moment — surrounded by our people, wrapped in blue, and overflowing with joy — became the beginning of the rest of our story.

December’s Second Yes (Traditional Edition :)

On December 20th, 2025—exactly one year after the blue-on-blue surprise, the coded invite, the hand-sketched ring with three diamonds and rose-petal sides.

Friends and family from Nigeria, Cameroon, Kenya, the UK, and Belgium —we’ll stand before God, our elders, and our families to say “I do.”

Same date, different kind of forever.

Drums, dance, food, culture, joy.

Simple, true, and ours.

We’ve grown together with love, faith, and grace—and now we seal it in tradition.

“A threefold cord is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12

We’ll be honoured for you to share our special day with us.
